Abbottabad Hazara Division Burning

Protests are still on, with the same energy thus brutally effecting routine like in Hazara. Enraged protesters were still on the streets of Abbotabad and Mansehrah. FC contingents have been called in. PML (N) seems to be in trouble and PML (Q) getting the full advantage. Khawaja Saad Rafiq (N) accepted that they haven’t anticipated the amount of protest currently going on. He further said we can still work out a solution through dialogue but demand of new province is just out of question.

Another injured of the yesterday’s violent clashes died because of sever injuries, raising the death toll to eight.

The funeral prayers of the victims were offered today in Mansehra, Garhi Habibullah and Tehsil Balakot.

At least eight people were killed and over 100 injured yesterday in violent protests organized by the Tehreek Soobah Hazarah, despite ban. Later, the Movement announced three-day mourning.

Complete shutter-down and wheel-jam strike was observed in Abbottabad and Haripur. The angry protesters bunred tyres near Mandian, Jab Pul, Supplai, Sarband Chawk and Lorry Adda and closed Karakoram Highway.

The demonstrators blocked Shahrah-e-Hazarah in Haripur, as well.

The demonstrators thrown stones on vehicles and broke down the signboards.

Like other districts of Hazarah Division, Mansehra was also observing complete strike today to mark the mourning for those killed with no traffic on roads in the city.

The protesters blocked various roads in the city.

The city administration announced to close all educational institutions for three days and Hazara University and all its campuses would remain closed for indefinite period.
