Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa is not yet finalized, but creating problems and put Hazara in blaze. Demand for Soba Hazara increasing day by day.

The NWFP government has constituted a four-member ministerial committee to hold talks with representatives of the anti-Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa movement in order to end the unrest in Hazara Division.

This seems like a good move. Chief Minister Ameer Haider Hoti presided over the  meeting in which collective prayers for those who died in the Timergara bomb blast and Abbottabad violence were offered.

The provincial minister said the four-member ministerial committee would negotiate with an independent committee, comprising representatives from the Hazara Division, to remove their genuine grievances. He also held responsible the Pakistan Muslim League-Q for the unrest in Hazara where peaceful protests turned violent after the visit of PML-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and others.

Earlier, addressing the cabinet, the chief minister said that the situation in Hazara and Abbottabad was a political dispute, which must be settled politically. “Difference in opinion is part of democracy and being a democratic government, we need to respect the opinion of every person. Freedom of opinion is a basic right,” he said, adding that 18th Amendment had been prepared by political forces and had been endorsed by parliament with absolute majority.

Dr. Israr Ahmed died today in Lahore. He had a heart attack and died around 3AM (13 April 2010).  He is among top scholars of Islam. He was born in Haryana (India) in 1932.

Initialy was a part of Jamat-e-Islami, but then left it due to political differences.

Protests are still on, with the same energy thus brutally effecting routine like in Hazara. Enraged protesters were still on the streets of Abbotabad and Mansehrah. FC contingents have been called in. PML (N) seems to be in trouble and PML (Q) getting the full advantage. Khawaja Saad Rafiq (N) accepted that they haven’t anticipated the amount of protest currently going on. He further said we can still work out a solution through dialogue but demand of new province is just out of question.

Another injured of the yesterday’s violent clashes died because of sever injuries, raising the death toll to eight.

The funeral prayers of the victims were offered today in Mansehra, Garhi Habibullah and Tehsil Balakot.

At least eight people were killed and over 100 injured yesterday in violent protests organized by the Tehreek Soobah Hazarah, despite ban. Later, the Movement announced three-day mourning.

Complete shutter-down and wheel-jam strike was observed in Abbottabad and Haripur. The angry protesters bunred tyres near Mandian, Jab Pul, Supplai, Sarband Chawk and Lorry Adda and closed Karakoram Highway.

The demonstrators blocked Shahrah-e-Hazarah in Haripur, as well.

The demonstrators thrown stones on vehicles and broke down the signboards.

Like other districts of Hazarah Division, Mansehra was also observing complete strike today to mark the mourning for those killed with no traffic on roads in the city.

The protesters blocked various roads in the city.

The city administration announced to close all educational institutions for three days and Hazara University and all its campuses would remain closed for indefinite period.

President Barack Obama said while addressing the leaders at the 47-country Nuclear Security Summit Tuesday the risk of nuclear attack — not by an enemy nation, but from terrorists — was on the rise despite the end of the Cold War.

Obama described the new nuclear reality as a “cruel irony of history.” He called the conference with the goal of locking down all nuclear materials worldwide in four years.

“The risk of a nuclear attack has gone up,” Obama said, terrorist organizations like the al-Qaida can try to get their hands on nuclear materials.

People are starting to say the summit is going to be a success as China’s agreement to work with the U.S is a major step. China indicated for the first time that it might back new U.N. sanctions against Iran.

In a strange or rather sudden press conference Senator Talha (Chairman Senate Committee for Interior) told media that the daughter of Dr Afia Siddique was recovered from Bagram Airbase, Afghanistan.

She was with an American there named ‘John’.

Few days back some unidentified people left an 11-year-old girl outside Dr Fauzia’s house.

The girl told the Siddiqui family that her name was Fatima and could speak English and Persian only while Dr Fauzia to confirm her as Aafia’a daughter Mariam got her DNA test done which came as positive today.

Earlier today, the government formally declared 12 years old Maryam as daughter of Dr. Aafia Siddiqui after proved by DNA Test and the girl handed over to the family of Dr. Aafia Siddiqui.

Dr. Fauzia Siddiqui, sister of Dr Aafia Siddiqui visited the Interior Ministry with 12 years old Maryam on Saturday and held a meeting with Interior Minister Rehman Malik Saturday. After the meeting the Rehman Malik (Interior Minister) told media that the DNA Report has proved that 12 years old Maryam is daughter of Dr. Aafia Siddiqui, adding the girl only speak English.

According to reports, the girls’ DNA matched that of Ahmed, Dr Aafia’s son. The report has been handed over to the investigation police.

The hairless beast was trapped by hunters in Sichuan province after locals reported spotting what they thought was a bear.

Hunter Lu Chin explained: “It looks a bit like a bear but it doesn’t have any fur and it has a tail like a kangaroo.”

“It also does not sound like a bear – it has a voice more like a cat and it is calling all the time – perhaps it is looking for the rest of its kind or maybe it’s the last one?

“There are local legends of a bear that used to be a man and some people think that’s what we caught,” he added.

Local animal experts now plan to shipped the mystery beast to scientists in Beijing who will perform DNA tests on the beast.

I have an HP machine with Windows XP Media Edition,  recently I noticed, there is no security tab for files and folders. Some research showed:

By default, Windows XP come with recommended setting to enable the use of simple file sharing that hide the Security tab, leaving you with only General, Sharing, Web Sharing & Customize tabs as in the Simple File Sharing UI.

Here are the steps to hide and unhide the Security tab, just use the following step:

1. Launch Windows Explorer or My Computer.
2. Click on the Tools at the menu bar, then click on Folder Options.
3. Click on View tab.
4. In the Advanced Settings section at the bottom of the list, uncheck and unselect (clear the tick) on the “Use simple file sharing (Recommended)” check box.
5. Click OK.

Security tab is available only to Administrator or users with administrative rights. So make sure you login as one. And security can only be set in an NTFS partition. If you’re still having problem to reveal or display the Security tab on files or folder properties, you can try the following registry hack and set the value to 0 or simply delete the key:
